Valentines Park Café is situated in the heart of Valentines Park, the flagship park in London’s Borough of Redbridge. The Cafe has been serving visitors to Valentines Park since the Park opened to the public in 1912 when it was known as ‘The Pavilion Cafe’.
We became the new custodians in 2011 and have worked hard to create a modern day Café which our customers want to return to again and again. We have undertaken a full refurbishment since we took over in 2011 and are now extremely proud of the warm and welcoming environment that we have created.
We are a family run business and believe in providing a good quality service at reasonable prices.
Where possible we source our food locally. Our bread and rolls are from a local bakers, the majority of our meat comes from a local butchers and our cakes are from a local patisserie.
Since taking over in 2011 we have strived to provide a clean and hygienic environment for our customers to eat and drink in, we have achieved the highest score possible each and every year from the health inspector and have just been enrolled in the Mayor Of London's Healthier Catering Commitment which we passed with flying colours.
We hope our passion reflects in what we do and look forward to serving you at Valentines Park Cafe.
Valentines Park is our premiere award winning park. It has been given a Green Flag Award and was voted 6th in the country out of 1582 green spaces in the People's Choice Award 2015.
The park was originally the parkland to Valentines Mansion and Gardens.
The multi-use games area in Valentines park includes 2 multi goals for basketball and football. The installation was part funded by the Football Foundation and the Council’s Olympic Legacy Fund.
Valentines Mansion is a beautifully restored 300 year old country house in the grounds of Valentines Park. It has a grand staircase and elegant period rooms, including the recreated Victorian kitchen and Georgian rooms with gorgeous views over surrounding parkland. The third floor has been converted into artist' studios, which visitors can often view during open studio days where they are able to meet the artists and view their work. The mansion is often host to art exhibitions and installations. The Grade II* listed building is also perfect for a whole host of functions, from weddings and celebrations to corporate events.
The park has two cafés, both with a great selection of food and beverages. If you would like more information about the café such as opening times or what they have to offer, please contact them directly.
